Give us an explanation for your gear choices, including why you prioritize certain stats:
Resto generally equips based on ilvl due to relatively small differences in secondary values.
Typically Crit is highest HPM stat alongside Versa, latter of which also provides a lot of value in form of DR. Crit mana regen is negligible so it's not a consideration.
Haste is technically highest HPS stat but provides little HPM outside scaling HoT effects, so it's typically not very useful for progression.
Mastery depends on the damage pattern and is either great or pretty awful so it's not worth investing into without a very specific need or the raid as a whole is tuned well for it (most of crucial healing done to targets under 40% health). The question about mastery is a more nuanced than what's reasonable for me to open up here, though.
Long story short, ilvl is king and crit/vers are preferred as default go-to.
Do you have any logs from your recent raids?
Do you have any upcoming events or plans that will make you unavailable for a long period of time (such as holidays/exams, etc)? No
Meeting the requirements:
What is your normal latency(ms) and FPS during raids? (Ideally give us the specs of your PC).
70-80 fps / 30-40 ms. WoW just doesn't wanna run over 100 fps despite my rig.
i7-7700K / GTX 980Ti / 16GB memory
Can you raid on all of our raid days (Wednesday, Sunday, Monday)? Yes
Do you have Discord installed and are you willing to speak? Yes, of course
Your Raiding Background:
Please give a brief overview of your guild history and what is the reason for leaving your current/last guild?
Started playing wow during Legion and raided for the first time in Nighthold. Got CE with a relatively casual guild (STALKERS - Twisting Nether) which eventually broke apart on Mistress during ToS. I joined another guild (The Reckless - Twisting Nether) when they just proceeded to progress KJ. I was there until Aggramar despite not enjoying myself and eventually decided to jump to a better guild (eXsto - Tarren Mill).
I missed Argus progression since eXsto was already there so I stayed as a trial for months of farm (albeit I took a break as well). I was supposed to start Uldir progression with eXsto but work schedule changed to disallow me to make raid times a week before the raid opened so I joined Feint (Tarren Mill) as an emergency maneuver which turned out to be a total sinking ship. I quickly left for Vex Thal - Stormscale. I was there for the rest of the tier and started BoD as well. I'm not exactly sure what happened but atmosphere turned really salty and unwelcoming probably because of months of no real content and AP farming and I didn't really feel like I fit in. Finally, after having complained about memeing in voice during progress pulls, as well as having one really bad raid on a personal level, RL suddenly kicked me from the guild with no explanation (which was normal behavior for the officer team).
What is your raiding experience? (starting with the most recent Tier(s))
11/11 Antorus (missed CE prog, got CE from farm)
9/9 Tomb of Sargeras (missed some prog on Maiden and Avatar, though I did reprog Avatar later)
What websites/resources do you use to keep yourself updated on the game and your class?
Wowhead / MMoC for game updates. Earthshrine discord for Shaman theorycrafting (I'm resto MVP on ES).
What do you expect from us?
Competitive minded and skilled progression.
Do you know anyone in the guild, if yes who?
I do not.
Where did you hear about us? (WoW Progress, MMO Champion etc.)
Lastly, is there anything else you'd like to mention?
My guild history looks scattered and that's true, however I feel like that's mostly due to the fact I work evening shift and I'm home just barely for raid times of 20:00 hence my guild options have been very limited and I've had to pick largely based on schedule rather. Yours is no exception but I'm hoping more competitive atmosphere suits what I'm looking for in a guild long term.
