Give us an explanation for your gear choices, including why you prioritize certain stats:
About gear choices the main thing to comment on would be azerite traits. There is currently a lot of information available when it comes to traits and stats. When I’m looking for what is optimal then I go to pages like warcraftlogs or raidbots and also the Demon Hunter specific discord. In order to finalize my BiS gear I still need to get my hands on the azerite head from Stormwall as well as the Spyglass trinket from Siege of Boralus instead of my Dice. There are some other trinkets that I would want to optimise my DPS for single target, Plumage being one of them.
The azerite traits you want to go for in a raiding environment are fairly straight forward, and it does not change much depending if there are 1 or 2 targets but rather it depends what talents you would use. The most optimal traits are 3x Furious Gaze, 1 Chaotic Transformation, 1 Thirsting Blades and then either Revolving Blades / Seething Power or Treacherous Covenant (the latter not being optimal on some progress fights). The Furious Gaze talents give a high uptime on haste so haste is valued the least for me. Mastery is overall not very good so what you want to aim for is mostly versatility and crit. Talents wise there are currently 2 main builds that are used. One for straight up single target with Felblade, Demon Blades and Trail of Ruin which also requires changing your enchant to Gale-Force Striking. The other one is more oftenly used for cleave fights with Blind Fury - Immolation Aura and Trial of Ruin / Fel Barrage depending on the encounter.

Do you have any logs from your recent raids? Please provide extensive narrative as to why some logs are below average / anything specific you want us to take note of.
I want to point out that on some of my logs I am assigned to certain mechanics or jobs meaning my damage will not be where it otherwise would be. Specifically;
On this pull one of the tanks died and given how the Conclave fight works it is highly dangerous to let both bosses hit the same tank at any given point. I therefore reacted and taunted one of the bosses and tried kiting it so that the other tank would have time to be resurrected and then take the boss back, sadly the boss was not picked up quick enough and ended in me dying as a result.

Personal information:

Age: 29
Country: Norway
Do you have any upcoming events or plans that will make you unavailable for a long period of time (such as holidays/exams, etc)? No.

Meeting the requirements:

What is your normal latency(ms) and FPS during raids? (Ideally give us the specs of your PC).
Latency during raid is 50-60 home and 40-45 world and FPS between 40-70

Can you raid on all of our raid days (Wednesday, Sunday, Monday)? In addition, if raid days are moved will this cause a problem?
I can attend all days. Due to the fact that I have mained a tank for so many years I am used to being a crucial part of a raid team, meaning high attendance is a requirement I’ve become accustomed to over the years.

Do you have Discord installed and are you willing to speak?
Yes I do. I am very vocal.

The reason why I am now on the lookout for a new guild is because we have lost a lot of raiders during BoD. I don’t personally want to blame the game, but most of the people we lost either just disappeared, or stopped playing all together. On top of this the GM of Relax got a job that caused him to miss most of the raids. Eventually we did not have enough people left to form raids, so we decided that we would not raid anymore.

What websites/resources do you use to keep yourself updated on the game and your class?
As mentioned previously I use the class discord, warcraftlogs, raidbots, icy-veins and PTR. Discord and icy-veins mainly for the broad information on the class. Warcraftlogs I use as a guideline to look at what other people are doing so that I can adapt to what proves to be the best. Finally raidbots to sim my gear/stats and also to look at my optimal rotation as they have a very nice integration that gives you a step by step on what spells to press from prepull. I also want to add that when changes comes around with patches and in order to be up to date on these I use PTR.

What do you expect from us?
I expect a guild with an active community, where people not only log in for raids, but also do stuff together outside of raiding hours. Furthermore I want to add that I highly value quality raid time where everyone still has a chance to joke around, it should be a good balance between progress and fun since after all WoW is ultimately a game.

Do you know anyone in the guild, if yes who?
Looking at your roster I know Guccilemon, Nish and Zeroblade (hope I did not miss anyone).

Where did you hear about us? (WoW Progress, MMO Champion etc.)
As I have been on Tarren Mill for a while now, I have known of Bad Luck for a while. I have been talking a bit with Nish and I was also contacted by Edgey.

Lastly, is there anything else you'd like to mention?
I have been tanking for years now, but I now want to experience raiding as a DPS main. The main reason for this is that I don’t feel like the latest bosses have been very entertaining from a tanking PoV (Uldir and BoD). I realize that although I might not have the recent experience as a main DPS, I am confident I would make a great asset to your team. Tanking requires you to be good at doing mechanics, and it shows if a tank has not done research or does not understand a mechanic. I feel this has transferred over to my DPS playstyle. I have been playing this game for 13 years now and I still very much want to play it even though I might not enjoy it that much at the moment. This being said I think a change of guild could be helpful in this regard, and act as a good motivation to now show that I am a versatile player.
Lastly I want to say thank you for reading this wall of text. As a final note I would like to add that I am very proud of my performance in-game. However I don’t want to come across as arrogant and would rather give you all the information needed in order for you to judge the application fairly. I look forward to hearing from you and I will happily answer any questions you may have.
