Give us an explanation for your gear choices, including why you prioritise certain stats:

Well nowadays most gear choices come from Raidbots and Simulationcraft, however its still important to understand why certain gear is better in certain situations. For assassination, generally haste and crit are the best stats to go for as haste increases my energy regeneration and the speed my bleeds tick at. However, my personal stat weights are all very close so i always sim every new piece of gear that i get to see what is best. For azerite pieces, single target rogue the meta has switched to playing Master Assassin talent and stacking Double Dose and Nothing Personal traits, increasing Mutilate damage and putting an extra bleed on the target during vendetta. For multi target bosses like Cabal, i would switch to Shrouded Suffocation traits and play the subterfuge talent. This allows me to put empowered garrotes on multiple targets which scaled very high with a target counter higher than one. For some bosses in BoD like Grong and Jadefire this can also be a very good setup to run with depending on the groups needs.

Do you have any logs from your recent raids? Please provide extensive narrative as to why some logs are below average / anything specific you want us to take note of.

Rogue Logs :

Rogue mythic private logs screenshot (contact me if you need full access) :

Druid alt logs (havent played it too much) -

Monk tank logs on Jaina (Buckmeister) -

Rogue logs are alright on mythic, however we play very safe in Luce. EG we don't even stack the adds on the boss on the first boss and I'm always on the red gem on Oppulence and we dps stop on conclave to wait on the bird coming. Makes it hard to parse but i don't mind as it makes for a quicker clear.

Personal information:

Age: 21
Country: Scotland
Do you have any upcoming events or plans that will make you unavailable for a long period of time (such as holidays/exams, etc)? Not that I'm aware of

Meeting the requirements:

What is your normal latency(ms) and FPS during raids? (Ideally give us the specs of your PC).

Latency is around 30ms, fps in the 60s during raid. I have an i5 processor and a gtx 970. wow installed on an SSD also.

Can you raid on all of our raid days (Wednesday, Sunday, Monday)? In addition, if raid days are moved will this cause a problem? Yep, and moved days will be fine the vast majority of time also.

Do you have Discord installed and are you willing to speak? Yep of course

Your Raiding Background:

Mentioned most of the details below. I started the game early legion where i played tank in a casual guild, while being a raid leader and officer. I did this for two years but got tired of all of the responsibility of running a raid team so left my own guild to join another to simply be a raider and nothing more. I have been happy doing this ever since.

Please give a brief overview of your guild history and what is the reason for leaving your current/last guild?

Entirety of legion i played in a casual 2-night guild where i was the raid leader and guild master for 2 years. I did all of the officer jobs and played as the main tank. I handled raid tactics, roster setup and everything in between.

<Greggs> - Finished Uldir with them around rank 750ish on my rogue.

<Eminent> - Started BOD with them and did uldir farm here. The guild kinda disbanded and i left a few weeks as i saw it coming.

<Luce> - Finished BOD here around rank 234. Enjoyed the guild but disagreed with some of the working practices they had and would rather raid elsewhere, although nothing bad to say about them and enjoyed my time there.

What is your raiding experience? (starting with the most recent Tier(s)).

Started game in Legion around Nighthold plaing casually, killed 3 bosses on mythic.

Antorus 6/11M as raid leader in casual guild.

8/8M Uldir

9/9M BOD

Have played many classes over this time, and even tanked Jaina for Skayne's old guild <Envy> a few weeks ago having not tanked any bosses in the tier really. Was comfortable doing it due to playing tanks all of legion.

What websites/resources do you use to keep yourself updated on the game and your class?

i watch a lot of Twitch streams for top rogue players whether it be raids or m+, and like to scour the Ravenholdt rogue discord server for the most up to date information. I like to engage in discussions there and ask questions which will help me improve in any way I can.

What do you expect from us?

i expect the guild to treat everyone fairly and provide a focused and driven raiding environment which is what I am primarily looking for.

Do you know anyone in the guild, if yes who? I know Skayne who recently joined, I think that is about it!

Where did you hear about us? (WoW Progress, MMO Champion etc.)

Saw the guild on WoWProgress and had heard good things about it from a few friends who know you (Buckbeast and Skayne).

Lastly, is there anything else you'd like to mention?

I'd like to mentioned that although I am applying as a rogue and have played it this expansion, i play many alts in raids and m+ and dont really mind the class im playing. The raid environment and the success of the team is more important to me as opposed to the class itself. I don't mind playing any other classes if the raid needs it and am not attached to staying on my rogue.

I also feel my experience in raid leader positions helps me massively with raid awareness, as i was used to having to call out mechanics and co-ordinate the raid for a long time. This helps me to handle the mechanics in my own play and helps me understand that playing a fight cleanly on progression is what kills the boss, not DPS whoring or aiming to log well.
