Give us an explanation for your gear choices, including why you prioritize certain stats: As I'm playing Warrior the most currently, I'll explain for that character. Gear choice, outside of azerite pieces, the new essences, and trinkets, are all about stat priority. For warrior, current stat priority = Haste > Crit > Vers > Mastery. The reasoning behind this priority is because Haste scales extremely well for warriors, both their dps and defensive uptime (shield block mainly). With roughly 21% haste you can maintain shield block for 3 charges before you get any downtime at all. Crit not only provides a damage increase, but it also provide parry, which is very valuable to a tank in a lot of scenarios. Versatility is a rather mediocre stat for warrior tank, it provides just a flat damage done/damage redcution amount, which sounds good on pape, but isn't as valuable as haste or crit due to the nature of the class and how it works. Mastery is very different, although it is a very valuable stat for warrior, with a particular trait you stack, you gain a lot of mastery whenever you use Avatar, along with other procs, you gain all the mastery you need, so there is no need to stack it with flat stat from your gear when you could instead gain other very valuable things like haste and crit. As for trinkets, being a raid tank you generally go for a more defensive route, opting for things like the oppulence tank trinket, or bwonsamdi cheat death trinket. Another trinket that should gain a lot of value moving forward is the alchemy trinket. The 40% potion value gain, with the current state of the new health potion, provides a 210k heal, along with a large strength proc, which is very good.

Do you have any logs from your recent raids? Please provide extensive narrative as to why some logs are below average / anything specific you want us to take note of.
Logs for my Warrior: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/tarren-mill/ooftclap
Logs for my Death Knight: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/eu/tarren-mill/devnate

Unfortunately I did not get the chance to raid with my other alts/characters in BoD so I have no logs to provide.

Personal information:

Age: 21
Country: United Kingdom
Do you have any upcoming events or plans that will make you unavailable for a long period of time (such as holidays/exams, etc)? No

Meeting the requirements:

What is your normal latency(ms) and FPS during raids? (Ideally give us the specs of your PC). Roughly 100FPS during raid, with a maximum of 30ms

Can you raid on all of our raid days (Wednesday, Sunday, Monday)? In addition, if raid days are moved will this cause a problem? I can raid on all of the specified days, and moving days are not an issue for me generally speaking.

Do you have Discord installed and are you willing to speak? Of course, discord is usually the only voice software I use, although I do have Teamspeak also.

Your Raiding Background:

Please give a brief overview of your guild history and what is the reason for leaving your current/last guild?
The first raid tier I got involved in was Mythic Blackrock Foundry back in WoD, after that tier I quit the game for a while, coming back in late legion where I focused more on mythic plus than raiding. Coming into BFA, I was lacking a guild for the first tier, up until the end, where I jumped from 2/8M to downing Mythic Mythrax on my 2nd night there (was during progress, not farm). I stayed with that guild moving into BoD, where we achieved 8/9M, but unfortunately disbanded shortly after the last set of Jaina nerfs, and I haven't joined a guild since. The guild was called: Rotated Out

What websites/resources do you use to keep yourself updated on the game and your class? I use a variety of resources, from warcraft logs, to raider io, to twitch streams, youtube videos, and so on.

What do you expect from us? I believe I'm consistent, dedicated and hardworking and expect that from those I raid with also. Cutting edge is a minimum for me but I want to achieve good world rankings also.

Do you know anyone in the guild, if yes who? Not currently

Where did you hear about us? (WoW Progress, MMO Champion etc.) WoW progress

Lastly, is there anything else you'd like to mention? I dedicate a lot of my time to WoW, and as a result have become very flexible with what I can play to a good level. I put in the grind if needed and I'm always pushing myself to be better. Outside of raid I achieved 3.1k Rio in mythic plus in season 2 on my Warrior, which I could have achieved a lot more, but is a small example of my ability, even if it isn't in a raid setting. I will be gaining another character soon, which will be a Monk tank, increasing my flexibility to all tank classes currently available in the game. And with that being said, thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Nate,

Many thanks for your application. Unfortunately we have decided to go with someone else.

All the best for the tier ahead.
