I play with a togglable viewport depending on whether the fight requires a wider range of vision or a more focused view.
After the recent repeated heavy nerfs to auspicious spirits SPs now favour stacking haste over crit to extend our voidforms and take advantage of the ideal triple chorus of insanity setup. Combined with Lucid dreams (active and passive) SPs are able to leave voidform with very high stacks of CoI which further diminished the value of crit
Jaina was killed in 8.1.5 rest of the logs in 8.1.5 were in pugs. This was probably my worst recent tier performance wise, I’d just landed a new job and I was required to be work whenever the associate that hired me was. I was working long hours (14-15hr shifts some days) coming home barely having time to get changed, not having dinner till after the raid was finished, coupled with some serious family emergencies meant my attendance, focus and as a result my performances were at a much lower level than I expect of myself. I did however persist as I believed I could still be an asset to the guild, seeing how strong shadow priest was on the end boss. In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have been in on progress with my IRL a complete mess.
None whatsoever, I’m finally back to WoW as I’ve got my IRL in check and now looking for a new long term guild to complete the endgame with.
Meeting the requirements:
Specs: I5, 16GB RAM, GTX 960
FPS ranges anywhere between 30 and 60 depending on the fight, ms is usually <25
I’ve had close to 100% attendance on every tier I’ve played excluding bod and wouldn’t be searching for a new guild if I wasn’t able to continue this, as I mentioned earlier my IRL schedule is in order and I can attend 100% of all raids even if they are moved at short notice, with some special exceptions ofcourse.
Yes I like to consider myself a vocal player ready to relay relevant information on comms
Your Raiding Background:
Exalted – disbanded
MoC – disbanded
Catch my towel – disbanded in the start of BFA
Colour – my current guild, As I previously mentioned I had to take a break after Jaina as I wasn’t able to commit to the raiding schedule. I am on good terms with my current but Colour currently raids at 5:45 GMT on a Thursday which is too early for my liking so I’m looking for a new guild with suitable raiding times and somewhere I can challenge myself to play better, by competing with better playing for raid spots and also aiming to clear content at a much faster rate than I have done previously.
I’ve been raiding end game heroic/mythic content since the start of WoTLK with various top 300 finishes since then so I’ll just list my most recent.
BOD – CE WR 158
Uldir CE WR 208
Antorus CE WR 287
ToS CE WR 590
As you can see I’ve played a multitude of different specs and roles at a relatively high level and I’m quite flexible when it comes to what I play. I’m usually quite happy to play new specs depending on what the guilds current needs are.
Warcraftpriests usually create a a large compilation of different sim combinations which can be quite useful to understand how the spec works in the current patch especially as SP fundamentally has quite a lot of complicated interactions involved in the spec, where looking at one trait or talent in isolation doesn’t really give any great insight into how the spec functions as a whole.
Outside of that in my opinion there isn’t a great deal of useful information in most class discords, and I focus on analysing my own logs and the best performing players, experimenting with my own ideas and with ideas other players have come up with. Personally I find this to be the best way to maximize any given specs potential especially on more complicated fights where they aren’t so cut and dry as to what the best way to play them are.
I expect an environment where the SHARED goal of all individuals is to clear mythic content as quickly as we can. I expect to be given a fair chance to show my capacity as a player.
I don’t expect to find myself in a guild run by people who make decisions not in the interest of the guild but out of pettiness and spite. Sadly, I’ve seen far too many guilds ruined due to the latter and have no intention of playing in a guild that doesn’t play as team.
I first heard about you guys when my friend Holypump joined you guys after Catch my towel disbanded
I’d like to address the fact that due to having returned to the game at the start of last reset and the current state of my character I’m likely not going to make an instant impact on progress this tier. Even though I’ve been working on getting my character raid ready as soon as possible, for instance I’ve already acquired every piece of socketed benthic gear, I’m writing this application in the hopes you will look past that and recognize that I’m a player that is committed to the long-term goals of the guild not only through in-game performances but by contributing to the tactical discussion and reviewing logs outside of raid times. For example I contributed a great deal to my guilds Argus and G’huun strategies by analysing logs of other guilds and engaging in constructive discussions as to what the best way to tackle the boss is.
It’s also worth noting that although I do have a preference towards playing my priest, if there’s no possibility of my joining as a priest I’d be happy to discuss rerolling onto a different class as per the guilds needs.
I truly believe I could improve your roster and I hope I’ve been able to convince you of that too.
